Tips books are excellent for self study. One must read them along with any other standard book.

Any reason why Dixit should be read over Hussain?

Savindra Singh's Physical Geography + Neetu Singh's Notes = Are they sufficient for Section A, Paper 1? Or SS's respective books are necessary?
Share your complete approach towards Physical Geography, each unit.

I think you should first read Neetu singh's note , then read Savindra Singh on that perspective.. Otherwise it may lead you some other areas which are irrelevant in the exam point of view..

  • Savindra Singh respective books are not that necessary for Paper 1 section A. Only physical geography by savindra Singh will be sufficient. These respective books contains topics which are not there in physical geography by savindra Singh like denudation chronology, slope development, channel morphology, geohydrology, etc. R D dixit is a academic book highly recommended by shabbir sir personally I didn't read that book but the reviews about book are good however majid Hussain book will suffice for this portion. @arunshourie1989

  • I have notes of neetu Singh but I don't recommend you to rely completely on it better way to prepare standard books thoroughly and prepare notes out of it. However you can refer neetu Singh notes for topics which are missing in standard books otherwise no need to refer them. If you can get hold of shabbir sir's class notes then they are better than neetu Singh notes. @arunshourie1989
