  • There r so many ppl here..who stay active..u can also go to chichat thread..it is fun out there.. And yes don't feel alone.. I know it is easy to say but dear the more u think about it the more u WL feel depressed .... Go out... Talk to ppl.. And most importantly try to stay happy... Take care..gud nyt.. :smile:

  • Thanks a lot guys for sharing your mantras...When I feel sad, hurt or any intense emotion, I usually pick up my notebook and try to convert all these intense feelings into a poem. Stronger the emotion, better is the poem.. Quite an irony, i guess !

    The simplest thing that one can do to pacify one's own mind:
    1. Keep your expections low - both of situations and from people
    2. Dissociate yourself with your 'ego' - a mental image that you have formed of your imagined 'self'
    3. Get busy - try answer writing practice, collaborate in group discussions, join a library as people have already said
    4. Form a healthy connection with your near and dear ones (don't stay aloof)
    5. Find a cause and let it be your motivator
    6. Stop being bitchy and emotional - a lot many people are surely worse off than you, keep this in mind
    7. Start truly trusting bhagwanji, a daily prayer goes a long way
    8. Remember - UPSC is not an end but just a means to realize your aspirations, there are other ways for the same as well
    9. Music and movies from time to time
    10. Negativity - avoid this in all forms (people, thoughts, situations, etc)

    Thank you bro ..but m not worried about upsc but i cant understand my own situtation kisi bhi cheez me mann nhi lgta ..it is like someone betrayed ur trust and m not able to get over her.. i try very hard but cant stay my mind focus on my studies .. but thank you so much .. i will definitely try some suggestions.
