How do religious morality incorporate individual freedom

Kindly provide the significant insights

Comments

  • It doesn't. It's all about their religious beliefs. Everything else is based on prevailing ideas that the society deems fair. It's all subjective.
Dead and departed general caste player. RIP.
  • By law of karma...you are free to do as per your will, but be ready to face consequences of those karma
  • Plus, religious morality appeals to the conscience and moral faculty of human beings. So, all actions they do as per religous morality, are borne out of free will ...because this is what they feel is right thing to do ...except cases of fear and superstition....
  • Wud it be right to incorporate the view of Kant :Duty for duty's sake here?.Since he has also accepted the religion as a psychological booster for morality.
Also Gita's teachings which say one should perform the right action .
