Clash of ideologies

I have joined a reputed GS II faculty , but after the first class I found out him to be critic of current central govt and follower of nehruvian philosophy ! Is that gonna have an impact on my mains answer writing and marks ?
And as a newbie , it occurred to me , it might be that this entire UPSC thing is a bit of that kind !
Are my fears justified?

  • Bhai through out this preparation, I would just suggest you to follow a simple rule: judge each case on its merit.

As for answer writing, I would suggest no matter how much controversial or debatable a issue is, in the seven minutes that you get, list the pros, list the cons, and end on an optimistic note. That's it.

Itne kam time me agar itna har question ke liye likh sako to yahi bahut badi baat hai.

  • Thanks Guys for the prompt reply ! It might be the case that I am a new comer and I am not used to these things , that might have made me uncomfortable ! Treating case by case as suggested by @Struggle could help !

  • But bro
To decide what are merits & demerits of any issue, It wholly depends upon your ideology only.
What are merits for a socialist are demerits for a capitalist.
You take any case it can be seen from two directly opposite angles.

Very rightly said bhai. Merit and demerits depend upon whether you are a socialist or a capitalist. But whatever you are, there will surely be both merits and demerits :).

Doesn't matter if my pros are your cons or if your pros are my cons. The only thing that matters is there should be a couple of points for both, legible handwriting, some current affair examples to substantiate and a crisp conclusion. That's all. Isse jyada aur kar bhi kya sakte hain bhai.

my friend why you joined his classes?instead you should have bought his handwritten class notes from market.his classes are very much critical and ideologically infused.a good teacher should keep his biasedness and propaganda at home before coming to teach but here it is opposite.just separate the wheat from chaff and let his moorings leave out from your other ear listening only what is required for this exam.just dont give any attention to unnecessary political talk
