Best book/ newspaper to prefer for current affairs

If I am thinking to become an IAS officer will I prepare myself . from where to start...should i join coaching or first, start with self study with NCERT basic books or reading newspapers .

  • If you are at starting point of your preparation then i suggest you should go through NCERT books as they are very good source of knowledge and easy to understood. for current affairs, its better to visit the website of khan study group ,, where you gt daily updates regarding news, questions and editorial. they upload the content important from Exam point of view, then u dont required any newspapers to read the current affairs.
