  • Current Affairs section is something that cannot be improved in a single day! I have been preparing for Civil Services from past a year and i have never read newspaper because i cannot. I came across this wonderful useful PrepMate Whatsapp Group Service that provides current affairs, Daily newspaper Analysis, Most Important Concepts that are:-

    Comprehensive
    In question/Answer form
    Posted on Daily basis
Coverage from HINDU, INDIAN EXPRESS & other important newspapers.
    Very simple to learn
    Very Concise to read

You don't have to take notes out of it. I personally use this free service of PrepMate. Just send a Whatsapp text to 7597900000 & they'll subscribe you to it. Hope i could help!

  • Well , I appreciate your justified criticism regarding the length of the material. Notwithstanding, the same, I suppose Vision IAS does a magnificent job with its handout, however, my bitter experiences of 4 mains have taught me that these notes while being sacrosanct for prelims, do not cater to mains as they make you learn things in a mechanical manner while the approach needed in mains is of a critical order.

So, my aim is not to replace Vision IAS from your bookshelves' but rather to supplement it. Such a mains oriented approach is only being pursued Insights , however, to a limited extent.

Furthermore, If you have been reading the papers, you would have found that all relevant articles from Hindu, Indian Express, Mint have been covered here, hence the length.

Please bear with me on this aspect, at-least for the time being.

    Regards

Please continue what u r doing, it is highly appreciated. if someone is regularly reading newspaper, ur notes would be very helpful for mains after prelims, since i think your notes are better for answer writing than vision ias. this is not to say vision ias notes are not good, they are excellent too. so is ur initiative as well.
