You should try Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies' quarterly journals which are available on their website. It is more to the pace of UPSC than IDSA which tends to get more academic.

You can also subscribe to Gateway House's weekly email newsletter which will give the best articles on IR/security of the past week written by our top ambassadors and other experts.

    Thanks, man!

Since I am studying for the civils on my own, I like to find my own sources for everything in the syllabus by keeping an eye open for 'UPSC-relevance'. If you have properly researched the past question papers and understand what is demanded of you, then finding relevant study sources becomes easy, without relying on some topper's blog or a coaching class.

yes you're right but i too had searched internet too much for the various sources after analyzing the previous year question papers but you know what internet is like a deep ocean and the more you dig the more you discover but it all consumes too much time and effort .
anyways thanks for being a good friend .

Being able to judge the UPSC-relevance of an article is only half the work done. Being selective in referring to the sources is other matter that is to be taken care of.
refer to few selected sources of Newspaper/ Magazine/ Websites, this would make you confident that nothing else is required and I won't care if anyone is referring some other source.
