one counter point can also be included that as an occupational category like farming, students, govt employee, housewives etc. percentage of farmer suicide is no more than say salaried youth. remember that farming population is almost 60% of working population. And suicide is a complex decision involving many aspects such as mental illness, lack of social support. So how for this is correct to assume all farmer suicide is only due to agrarian distress , without considering a counter argument?

sorry to say man..but have reduced intolerance to communalism...it is a much wider debate
  • Intolerance to include other like- wendy doniger book example, pk movie example, beef ban example, culuture of bans, section 499and 500ipc, charlie hebdo press example. Not just religion. Intolerance is a wide concept. So i guess sab ke baare mein likhna hai. Starting from history. Examples of ashoka etc
  • Intolerance should b seen through d prism of social political psychological environmental economical n other relevant angles too rather than just focusing on religious only... There is even a term called glucose intolerance in medical science in relation with diabetes... ;)

So it should b a comprehensive thing if it comes in d arena of essay paper...

    All d best friends...
  • For example... Social intolerance.. Caste system
Economic... WTO negotiations between develpd n dvlping countries
    Psychological... Ethnocentrism xenocentrism prejudices
Environmental... Unfcc negotiations betwn devlpd n dvlping countries
Political... Policy of exclusion followed by elected n establishes elites against emerging political elites frm rural to global level
    Religious... We all know this..
  • Family / individual level... Patriarchy n its effect on women
  • For example... Social intolerance.. Caste system
Economic... WTO negotiations between develpd n dvlping countries
    Psychological... Ethnocentrism xenocentrism prejudices
Environmental... Unfcc negotiations betwn devlpd n dvlping countries
Political... Policy of exclusion followed by elected n establishes elites against emerging political elites frm rural to global level
    Religious... We all know this..

what u mean by economic intolerance in terms of developing and developed countries... WTO negotiations?
  • Developed countries r not accommodating d developmental needs or aspirations of developing countries n thereby focusing moreon singapore issues than Doha issues...
  • Bhai logo pls provide some tips on how to move to conclusion part
  • Similar is the condition at Unfcc with respect to CBDR finance technology transfer n historic responsibility issues..
  • Topic:What India requires is smart citizens rather smart cities to make urban spaces more liveable.

    Approach:

Smart city is like a three-parent baby. There is a center, there is a state and there is a city. Each-one giving their own inputs to create something wonderful. How the baby will turn out will depend on the third parent: the city. The city holds the key to the new baby..(expand it little further.)

people make good cities>>great culture, prosper cities, happy people>>Harrapa civiliztion>>post Independence development history>>slow starter>>protected from globalization>>post LPG rapid amalgamation>>behavioral changes stagnant>>Westernization and not modernization>>Institutions are established without corresponding behavioral change>underutlisation, misutlization, confusion, chaos, ignorance>> Malls in big cities>>automatic escalator>> people for rural areas bewildered, unable to use>>problem of integration>>same people will flock>>already migrants in cities>>were will they fit>>loss of empoyment>social mobility>>awerenss, empoyment etc

bas itna hi aa raha hai abhi

Peace needed for smart cities which comes from peaceful people ( historic example of ashoka and his dharma)
Smart cities possible only with inclusive development of people which produces smart citizens.
Education curriculum and its deficiens to be removed to produce smart citizens
Smart cities is not just abt smart infra. If people are not able to understand or use it. So it cant be smart city.
