Tech tips and tweeks for efficient prep

To make sure regular studying from pc/lappy does not become a real pain, here are some mini tech delights

1. If you copy paste a lot from websites or ebooks to make your own files/e-notes, "clipx" is a great clipboard manager (this has been of great help to me)
http://download.cnet.com/ClipX/3000-2384_4-10315451.html

2. if your internet is slow, pic blocker plugin of firefox browser can save a lot of time especially when sites of news dailies are full of thumbnails and ads

3. similarly "script blocker plugin" is a boon as you can selectively allow site to run java script, filtering all ad sites from running their code. it needs a wee little bit of understanding, but its easy to use

4. Foxit pdf viewer is good if you read ncert, eco survey or any ebook that needs underlining or highlighting facts/quotes from which notes can be made later

There are lots of scattered tech tips in diff posts, i hope it can be brought under one thread..

@root just like humour, can we have a new category called tech or something like that ? there are a bunch of topics falling under it, like which printer to buy, tablet or lappy, etc, it would be helpful to many to bring all under one click.
